Born on the swamp world of Nal Hutta to a family of modest criminal ambition, Jabba Desilijic Tiure showed early promise — mostly in the field of eating and intimidating smaller beings. By the age of 600 he had already established himself as the premier crime lord of Tatooine, a planet so desolate that even the sand has given up.
Over the following centuries, Jabba built an empire of smuggling, gambling, and general unpleasantness that stretched across the Outer Rim. He employed the galaxy's finest bounty hunters, kept a rancor as a pet (for entirely reasonable reasons), and maintained a throne room that was, by all accounts, absolutely disgusting.
He is survived by his legacy, his palace, and the lingering smell.
